Jonathan R. Klee, Esq.

Jonathan R. Klee founded Klee & Woolf, LLP with Andrew Woolf in January of 2000 and has been in practice since 1993. As managing partner of Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Jonathan has represented thousands of workers in hearings before the New York State Workers Compensation Board, the Local 3 Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and the Social Security Administration. He has lectured to many groups about obtaining benefits under the New York State Workers' Compensation system including continuing legal education (CLE) seminars in Advanced Workers' Compensation Law. A graduate of Oceanside High School, he received his BA from George Washington University in 1990 where he was elected and served as a Senator and then Executive Vice President of the student association. He obtained his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1993 and is currently a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars as well as the Nassau County Bar Association where he served as Chairman of the Lawyer Referral Committee. Mr. Klee is also a member of the Injured Workers Bar Association and Workers' Compensation Alliance.

In addition to his role at Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Jonathan is the President of USTA Eastern Long Island and previously was the Long Island representative on the USTA Eastern Section Adult League Tennis Grievance Committee where he served as Chair from 2008 - 2012. He also previously served on the USTA National Adult League Committee. In December 2014, Jonathan was appointed to the USTA National Constitution and Rules Committee for the 2015 - 2016 term and was recently reappointed for the 2017-2018 term. He was awarded the USTA Eastern League Award in 2012 for all of his volunteer work with tennis.

Andrew B. Woolf, Esq.

A founding partner of Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Andrew has represented thousands of clients before the NYS Workers Compensation Board, the Local 3 Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and the Social Security Administration. Born and raised in Middletown, NY, Andrew attended Boston University from 1981 to 1985 where he received a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Mathematics. Andrew received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989 and is presently admitted to the Bar in New York, Florida, and New Jersey and to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

He is currently a member of the Injured Workers' Bar Association and Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group the New York County Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.

Davin Goldman, Esq.

Davin Goldman, a partner at Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, is a Suffolk county native and Longwood High School alumnus who obtained his BA in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where he was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

While in law school, Davin was Editor-in-Chief of the Hofstra Conscience and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Public Justice Foundation and LALSA (Latin American Law Students Association). Davin has been with Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, since being admitted to the Bar in 2004. Davin is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Injured Workers' Bar Association, and sits on the Board of the non-profit South Shore Foundation, Inc.

Andrea E. Filpi, Esq.

Andrea, a partner at Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, graduated magna cum laude from St. John's University in 2003 and received her Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Criminal Justice. While at St. John's University, Andrea was a member of the College of Professional Studies Honor Society and a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.

Andrea received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2006. While at Touro, Andrea co-founded the Journal of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity and was elected as managing editor of the Journal. Andrea was the Vice President of LALSA (Latin American Law Students Association) and was the Student Director of the LEAP (Legal Education Access Program) during her last year at Touro Law Center. Andrea is currently a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association. Andrea joined the firm out of law school in 2006 and is fluent in Spanish.

MICHAEL D. CHECHANOVER is of Counsel to Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP. Mr. Chechanover has been representing injured workers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board since 1989. He has a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Oneonta and received his Law Degree from Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Chechanover started his legal career as a Law Assistant in the NYC Civil Court. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Injured Workers' Bar Association of New York and is a member of the Workers' Compensation Committees of the New York State Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and was the Secretary of the Society Of New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association. Highly regarded by Judges and fellow attorneys, Mr. Chechanover has lectured to attorneys and doctors on Workers Compensation Issues.

Steven Glaser, Esq.

Steven joined Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, in October 2013. He completed his undergraduate degree at Touro College where he graduated magna cum laude and received Dean's List honors. Steven spent two years studying Talmudic Law in Jerusalem and returned to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2008. He was sworn in as a member of the New York State Bar in January 2009.

Prior to joining Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Steven worked on the defense side of the table as an Assistant Corporation Counsel representing the City of New York and then for private insurance companies and self insured employers in Workers' Compensation claims. In 2013, upon joining Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, Steven now uses his vast experience to represent injured workers. He handles all aspects of Workers' Compensation cases including hearings, trials, depositions, and settlements. Steven is also involved in community charities and is a board member of Avigdor's Helping Hand where he assists individuals who have recently lost their bread-winning spouse.

Emily K. Rogers, Esq.

Emily joined Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi, LLP, in January 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Emily worked at an insurance defense firm, representing corporate clients including retail store chains, elevator maintenance companies, and the New York City Transit Authority. She is an admitted attorney in the Supreme Court New York State Appellate Division Second Department and the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from St. John's University School of Law in 2013 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Political Science from Pace University in 2007. Emily handles all aspects of Workers' Compensation cases including hearings, trials, depositions, and settlements.

While in law school Emily was an Executive Board Member on the St. John's Dispute Resolution Society, which allowed her the opportunity to compete numerous negotiation and mediation competitions, including the Vis International Moot Arbitration in Vienna, Austria in 2012. Following her participation in the VIS Moot, St. John's faculty awarded her the Mangano Grant which facilitated her summer internship at JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation). Before deciding to attend law school, Emily worked as an advertising sales associate for CBS Radio and Long Island Radio Group.

Alla Mekhtiyev, Esq.

Alla received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Hunter College in 2011 and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2014 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, she began her path of representing the interests of individuals by interning at the Sixty Plus Elderlaw Clinic. During that time she represented senior citizens in protective hearings including guardianships and drafted wills and trusts for small estates. After graduating law school, Alla continued to advocate and represent individuals in plaintiff's personal injury matters. Since 2015, she has concentrated her practice on Workers' Compensation law.

Alla is passionate about going the extra mile to advocate for her clients so as to ensure the proper delivery of benefits to the injured and ill. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, New York Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association.

Heechul H. Park, Esq.

Heechul H. Park, Esq. is a NY and NJ licensed attorney and a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner.

Before joining Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi in 2016, he worked for several law firms in NY and NJ handling a wide range of legal issues. He has been involved with advising several corporations regarding the U.S. corporate law and labor law, has handled multiple personal injuries and commercial litigations and real estate transactions.

A graduate of Vermont Law School, he now concentrates in Workers' Compensation and Social Security law with an interest to help injured workers. Heechul has successfully represented clients at both the New York State Workers Compensation Board and Social Security Administration. Fluent in Korean and conversational Mandarin, Heechul adds a unique skill set to Klee, Woolf, Goldman & Filpi to develop client-oriented attitude in his work and understands how to satisfy his clients.
